Hardware
Hardware configuration is based on current hardware on the market. We
will work continually to accommodateour customer’s specific requirements
as much aspossible, without raising the monthly fee.
Software
All dedicated servers are delivered with the Debian installation of
Linux with SSH and ApacheSSLpre-installed. Additional or alternative
softwarepackages can be installed if requested prior server delivery.
Any licensing that might be required is the customer’s responsibility.
Power
In case of power surge or failure all servers areconnected to a UPS
backup system.
Bandwidth
Bandwidth is sold in 32K blocks. Any customerpurchasing 3 32K blocks
receives the 4th block free (128K - $150). The actual line size that
customer is billed for is based on the usage from the previousbilling
period. All new customers assume a 32K line at signup. If the actual
usage exceeds that rate to prior month usage, the billing for the next
billing cycle will be adjusted, however, customer will not be re-billed
for the previous period. Bandwidth is metered using the MRTG tool and
based on the weekly average.Customers will be provided with the data
from thereal-time monitor, which is updated every 5 minutes.
Monitoring
All servers are monitored 24/7 for any service that customer runs on
the system. In case if server or any service on the server does not
respond, the customer as well as AnGen staff members will be notified
by auto-generated email.
Security
We will work with the customer to do develop afirewall that will meet
our customer’s needs.
Backup
All dedicated servers will be backed up on adaily basis.
Other Services
We provide DNS and mail servers, which can beconfigured by the customer
through our control panel.
Customer Cost-reducing Incentives
AnGen offers a number of incentives to help keep the cost of the service
down:
Referral Program
Current customers who refer new dedicated/co-locatedclients to us will
receive a monthly bonus in a form of $25 credit towards monthly fee.
Quarterly Price Protection
Customers who choose a quarterly billing plan will secure the current
rate for entire billing cycle. If at the end of the billing cycle the
rate needs to be adjusted, the customer will be charged only for one
extra 32K ($50) block per month regardless of the actual usage. In other
words, if the rate for a next quarter needs to be increased, it will
increase no more than $150 for the next quarter.
Special Offer
For those customers who do not require a high-speed server solution,
we may have older servers available for use. If available, utilizing,
an older server will eliminate the ‘hardware lease’ fee associated
with the standard higher-speed server.
Multiple Servers
For clients who need multiple servers, we offer asubnet configuration
where multiple servers share a single connection, thereby reducing the
totalbandwidth cost.
Service Initiation
If you are interested in our co-located/dedicatedservice, we would like
to hear from you! Pleasecontact us via email sales@angen.net and let
us know what specific requirements you might have. Feel free to ask
us any questions you might have prior toinitiation of service. We require
20% down payment before the server will be available, and the balance
is due 15 days after delivery. Please allow 48 hours for server delivery
after down payment has beenreceived. All payments are subject to 30
days money back guarantee. There is no minimum term, andservice can
be terminated at any time.
